As far back as March, we showed you some photos allegedly captured by a Foxconn insider. One of the images was of a screenshot, showing a computer-aided design of the Apple iPhone 6, revealing a protruding camera on the rear of the handset. Last week, another CAD image of the Apple iPhone 6 was leaked, and once again the protruding camera was seen.
Now, the infamous protruding camera moves from an image on a computer screen to an actual photograph. The pictures you see below should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. You can see that the FCC numbers have not yet been printed on the back of the phone, and the famous Apple logo is also a no-show.
Regardless of whether or not these photos show the real thing, the Apple iPhone 6 will apparently not be equipped with a rear camera that is flush with the surface of the phone. It is a new look for the iPhone, as is the larger 4.7 inch screen expected on the front of the handset.
