‘Star Walk 2′ is Now Available on the App Store!

Vito Technology , the award-winning developer of educational apps for iOS, have recently launched Star Walk 2, the next generation their best-selling stargazing guide which has been downloaded over 10 million times. In this update, features include an all-new interface design, 3D visualization of constellations, deep sky objects, as well as man-made satellites. Completely redesigned from the ground up, Star Walk 2 is a much faster and smoother app, that combined with an improved interface gives an overall better user experience. Additionally, all-new handcrafted artwork has been added for constellations inspired by minimalist low-poly art. In cooperation with scientists of Braunschweig University of Technology, who have been working on volumetric visualisation of deep space objects, Star Walk 2 is the first astronomy guide to introduce plausible 3D models of planetary nebulae. Furthermore, star groupings of the 88 officially recognized constellations are also presented in 3D which can be rotated to see from different angles.
