Some of those lucky enough to get an Apple iPhone 6 or Apple iPhone 6 Plus pre-order in on Friday, are receiving notification that their new pride and joy is in transit. Despite what might seem like an early start to the shipping process, the phones still might not be received by consumers until the September 19th launch date.
Usually, we do get stories from some who receive their pre-ordered iPhone a day or two before the launch date. But for the most part, Apple has things timed perfectly with the carriers (not the wireless carriers) so that the majority have that precious delivery waiting at the doorstep on the precise launch date.
