Right before Asus closed out its CES 2015 press conference, they teased us with a new, upcoming smartphone that specifically caters to snapping photos. Riding high on the announcement of its new ZenFone 2 smartphone, the company teased all of the attendants with the Asus ZenFone Zoom – an Android smartphone that shares ties to the ZenFone 2, but it’s packing along a 13-megapixel PixelMaster camera with a 3x zoom and a 10-element lens.
Before we all go bonkers about something with a 3x zoom, the phone in question was under glass. Therefore, we’re only able to peek at its glory from the other side of the glass. Nevertheless, we will mention that its design is something we’d classify as catering to snapping photos. What stands out the most above everything else is the rather large sized lens in the back of the phone. From the looks of it all, it’s constructed from this matte plastic material – one that might even sport a soft touch finish.
