Epson Pulsense first look

jeudi 8 janvier 2015

When you think of Epson, most of the time you will associate the name with a company that makes printers, scanners, printer ink, and the like. Epson does have a few niche products in its portfolio though, and one of those is in the area of fitness and sports.

Epson’s new Pulsense Band, and Pulsense Watch are designed to provide continuous monitoring of your activities, including heart rate. That data is then uploaded to the Pulsense app for iOS or Android. The Pulsense Band is a basic activity tracker, walking, sleep patterns, and you can input calorie intake on the mobile app which will than calculate more accurate results. The Pulsense Band costs $129.

The Pulsense Watch does everything the Band does, but also adds a host of extra features, such as zone training, real-time data on the display, and store up to 20 days of data without syncing. The Pulsense Watch costs $199. Both Pulsense wearables are available directly from Epson, or from Amazon.
