Apart from announcing the G Flex 2 and mentioning the G4 (or whatever its next flagship smartphone will be called), LG has seemingly also brought a new smartwatch to CES 2015 - though it’s not yet ready to officially present it.
The mysterious smartwatch was spotted today during Audi’s CES press conference, when one of Audi’s officials used the device to command a self-driving car. Like the LG G Watch R, the new smartwatch sports a round display. However, it’s got three buttons on the right side, not just one - so it has to be a new model. It’s not yet clear if the device runs Android Wear, though we’d imagine that it does.
For the moment, LG isn’t saying anything about this new smartwatch, but we guess the company will reveal more about it in the near future. Not long ago, we heard that LG would announce an LTE-enabled G Watch R2 at MWC 2015 (thus in March). Could the watch that was showcased today be this rumored R2? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
