‘Fruit Ninja Kinect 2′ Now Available on Xbox One

Just like how we reported earlier this month, Halfbrick has finally released the much anticipated Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 onto the Xbox One. Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 sports a ton of content for new and returning players, featuring nine different game modes, four-person multiplayer, exclusive mini games, as well as a progression system. Thanks to an Halfbrick\'s increased focus on movement and dexterity, Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 is designed to get gamers moving on their feet. Players can dodge shurikens, avoid spotlights, or strike a pose in comical mini games. The new Kinect sensor plays a pivotal role, allowing implement of various features which were not previously possible on other Fruit Ninja games. Party Mode is a perfect example of this -- up to four players have the ability to jump in and out of the action as matches progress. For the first time also, all modes can be played cooperatively with a friend or family member. ‘Monster Dash’ from Halfbrick Gets Updated with Ghostbusters Content

MonsterDashAfter previously collaborating with Sony Pictures , Halfbrick is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters by adding a massive update to their classic game Monster Dash . This update includes a New York City rooftop level, the iconic Proton Pack, as well as Peter Venkman as a playable character. Monster Dash was updated late last year with an overhauled game flow, daily events, and powerful weapon upgrades. This Ghostbusters-themed content takes full advantage of these changes, where it is playable in the regular daily challenge "Who You Gonna Call?" on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In the daily challenge, the featured monster is fan-favorite Slimer, which Venkman can bust with the new Proton Pack weapon. Besides the daily event, players can play as Venkman in every mode with an optional in-app purchase if they feel inclined to spend money. Interested? In addition to One Man Left\'s awesome holiday sale, Halfbrick is joining in by hosting a pretty special sale where all of their games are available to download for free for a limited time only. Yes that\'s correct folks, two of Halfbrick\'s most popular games -- Yes Chef! and Top Farm -- can be downloaded completely free of charge. Halfbrick Releases ‘Age of Zombies: Season 2′ for iOS!

AgeofZombiesSeason2Following up from the success of President Evil and Zombie Month, the classic Age of Zombies has received one of its biggest updates ever, including more levels and a graphical overhaul to kick off Season 2 of the game. Barry and his infected friends are now in glorious 3D, allowing for much smoother movements, better action and graphical flexibility. We\'re told that part of the goal moving forward is to experiment with all aspects of the game and keep the content coming in later updates, so this upgrade to 3D graphics will help the developers in the long run. Season 2 is also a brand to encompass the variety of content for Age of Zombies that\'s coming in future additions. Along with the 3D graphics, this update includes three story levels and a new soundtrack featuring Australian artists The Bloodpoets, Goodnight Midnight, and more. Last but certainly not least, Age of Zombies: Season 2 will also see content from Ghostbusters sometime in the near future as an additional update. Interested? Halfbrick and Sony Celebrate 30 Years of Ghostbusters with ‘Fruit Ninja’ Update

fruitninjaIn collaboration with Sony Pictures, Halfbrick is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters by combing a hit, modern-day mobile game and movie masterpiece into one. Available now as a free update on all versions of Fruit Ninja , players can now slice slice with the infamous Proton Pack from Ghostbusters. In addition, ghostly fruit, music and artwork have been added to give an extra layer of fun. The Fruit Ninja characters have also put on the classic uniform to get in character, and the Pneumatic Transit Dojo has been revealed as a new location. When using the Proton Pack blade, players can unleash a devastating attack by slicing an X and crossing the streams for an extra boost in points. Halfbrick Announces ‘Yes Chef’, Coming to iOS Next Month

Yes_Chef_icon_256Halfbrick, developers of Fruit Ninja , have recently announced Yes Chef , their first entry into the world of puzzle games with a take on classic match-3 gameplay. Developed by CitrusJoy and published by Halfbrick, Yes Chef tells the story of a young apprentice named Cherry and Chef Pierre who guides her in the culinary arts. At launch, the game will feature 100 levels, which include a variety of unique matching challenges and get harder as your progress. Throughout Yes Chef, players must accommodate the needs of customers, break frozen food out of ice, unbox cakes, and complete other various tasks. To give players an edge, power-ups can be used that include hammers, magic bottles, bombs and shuffles to complete objectives. From what we were told, Halfbrick doesn\'t brand their published games under a separate category or sub-label. So with that being said, each game is carefully selected by Halfbrick to become an official member of their portfolio. As of now Yes Chef is currently in soft launch across Australia and Canada, however, the game will be available worldwide on the App Store come October 9th.

‘Fruit Ninja’ To Receive a Massive Update Next Month

fruitninjaOriginally released in 2010, today starts a new journey for the super popular Fruit Ninja game which has attained over 500 million downloads worldwide. In addition, the entire Fruit Ninja brand is going to offer a whole suite of new media content for both old and new players. The classic slicing game available on almost any platform has been rebuilt from scratch. The development team has thrown away the old menu and UI designs, while keeping the steps between playing and equipping new gear are all streamlined. Before each game, players can equip different Blades and Dojos which were previously cosmetic only. Now with this upcoming update, almost every item will have an unique effect on the gameplay and allow for limitless possibilities. For example, the Great Wave Dojo sporadically spawns ten fruit at once while the Autumn Blade creates a fruit-swirling tornado with every pineapple sliced. Last but certainly not least, players can mix and match their favorite items, and leaderboard entries will display which combination of items were used. From what we are told, the update is set to release sometime early October across all platforms. As of now though this is all the information we have available, however, we\'ll be sure to keep you updated as time progresses.

HalfbrickLogo Halfbrick , the makers of the hit game Fruit Ninja , have announce a world-first sale for their award-winning suite of popular iOS titles. Starting today, all Halfbrick games will be free to download for a limited time exclusively on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. In the past they have done various sales, however, never on this big of a scale. That being said, this is an excellent opportunity for those who have played some of their games, but not all of them. Continuing on, we have compiled a list of every game that\'s available for free which can be seen below.
