‘Red Bull Air Race’ Receives a Huge Update!

Shortly after the start of this year\'s Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Abu Dhabi, the official game based off the tournament has received a huge update. Red Bull Air Race , available for free through the App Store, now offers all eight aerial racetracks on three continents, new tournaments with prizes, and more brand-new game content. The new location in Chiba, Japan is now available as part of the single-player campaign, where all game pilots can experience every single race in the current world championship. The racetrack located in Japan, which is an official venue in the series for the first time, has been identically rendered in the game. All in all, there are over 140 events across racing classes Exhibition, Challenger, Master, and Super. Seen as how the game was updated for the current Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2015, scores from last season have been reset just like during the real tournament. Players who made in-game purchases be reimbursed and receive an additional bonus, to equip themselves for the new season. Another part of the update includes the Airplane Shop, players can now purchase their own aircraft or buy a new racer from 16 aircraft across four different classes. ‘Red Bull Air Race’ Gets Winter Flight Action in Latest Update

Red Bull Air Race , the iOS racing game from Red Bull Media House, has received an extensive update just in time for the winter. With this new winter content update, it offers players a new location with several courses, a special campaign with new races and events, as well as new aircraft paint jobs. The new location, Iceland, offer pilots four new courses where there are over 60 new events to master. Winning match-ups against six pilots from the Red Bull Air Race will also unlock holiday paint jobs, which will only be available until the beginning of January. Another change in the update affects equipping aircraft in the hangar. The five different upgrades available thus far have been divided into five sub-steps each, allowing players to upgrade certain mechanisms earlier depending on the strategy. In addition to the holiday paint jobs in the new campaign, there\'s also the option of painting aircraft in national colors. Along with the previously available American and Canadian flags, there are now nine more paint jobs in the national colors of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, Brazil, and Japan. Earlier this month we covered Red Bull Media House\'s upcoming game for iOS -- Red Bull Air Race - The Game -- which was originally set to release just next week for iPhone and iPad, however, it appears there have been some minor problems. While we were keeping tabs on the development process, we got word that that game\'s release date has been delayed by a week. Originally scheduled to release on September 4th, Red Bull Air Race is set to land on the App Store on September 12th. Best of all the game will still be free to download, but will most likely include in-app purchases for extra content or in-game currency. In Red Bull Air Race, players take flight on virtual replicas of the real aerial racetracks of the 2014 Red Bull Air Race World Championship.
