Much to our surprise, DeNA and Marvel Entertainment launched their latest mobile title, Marvel Mighty Heroes , a real-time co-op brawler featuring well-known heroes and iconic villains from the Marvel Universe. Best of all, Marvel Mighty Heroes is available to download for free right now on iOS as well. In the game, players assemble a dream team of various Marvel superheroes, each with their unique set of upgradeable abilities and costumes to compete in missions, participate in multiplayer events, and more. Up to four players can take on the role of a Marvel character and fight against evil villains in an exciting gameplay atmosphere. Also available, is the first in-game event for Marvel Mighty Heroes in their "Infinity" series, which features the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy joining forces to battle Thanos the Mad Titan. Multiplayer events include a variety of missions like cooperative defense and intense boss battles. Regular updates will also add new content, letting players fight their way through different worlds and storylines never seen before in a Marvel game. Interested? Marvel and DeNA Reveal ‘Marvel Mighty Heroes’ for iOS!

Just a couple days ago, DeNA and Marvel Entertainment announced that Marvel Mighty Heroes, a real-time co-op brawler starring Super Heroes and Super Villains of the Marvel Universe, is currently in development and will be released soon for iOS devices. Marvel Mighty Heroes sports real-time cooperative, action-packed gameplay with up to four players. Gamers and Marvel fans can also pre-register to vote for Hulk or Rocket as a free special hero at launch for a limited time. Marvel Mighty Heroes allows players to choose their favorite Marvel comic book characters, including Iron Man, Groot, Captain America, Star-Lord, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and Spider-Man, and dozens of their allies and nemeses. Players will build a team of Super Heroes and Super Villains, each utilizing different skills and special abilities to battle to the finish. Multiplayer in Marvel Mighty Heroes will give players a chance to test their skills against others and earn a spot on the leaderboard as well.

Gameloft and Marvel Announce ‘Spider-Man Unlimited’ for iOS!

Shortly after revealing the Modern Combat 5 E3 trailer, Gameloft has teamed up again with Marvel to announce the development of their latest iOS title, Spider-Man: Unlimited, the very first web-runner inspired by over 50 years of Spider-Man comics. Players will enjoy the fun of swinging, running, and fighting through New York on the brink of destruction, as The Formidable Sinister Six attempt to gain power. When playing as Peter Parker, players can choose from different iconic Spider-Man variations like the Iron Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Future Foundation Spider-Man and Ben Reilly Spider-Man. In addition, players can collect and upgrade over 23 different Spider-Men as they battle through each level featuring the Green Goblin, Vulture, Electro, and their counterparts along the way. Last but certainly not least, Gameloft has released an announcement trailer which can be seen below. From what we are told, Spider-Man Unlimited is scheduled to release for the iPhone and iPad sometime early next month.

Just like we reported last week, Gameloft has announced that the official iOS game for the highly anticipated The Amazing Spider-Man 2 film is out now on the App Store to download. Coming in for a price of $4.99, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features nearly 100 story missions with 6 bosses and plenty of side missions to complete. In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, players are thrown into an action-packed, open-world adventure game as Spider Man who must save New York City from the villain Electro. For those that recall the game\'s predecessor which first landed on the App Store in 2012, it received mixed reviews and opinions all across the board at first. Throughout the months following that, Gameloft tweaked the game and released additional content to improve the user experience. That being said, hopefully they translated all that to the sequel and made it just as good, if not better, than the original. Moving forward, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also includes a larger open-world Manhattan with 6 detailed areas ranging from Times Square to Central Park. Ironically at the time of this writing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is actually cheaper by two dollars than the The Amazing Spider-Man, however, there\'s a slight catch. As it stands, there are a range of in-app purchases for extra suits or in-game currency which most people don\'t prefer when paying for a game. Typically we recommend any title from Gameloft, however, you may want to hold off until there is a free or lite version available to get a feel for the game.
