Apptly Announces ‘Pogo Plumber’ for iOS!
Apptly, developers of Baldify , have announced that their first full iOS game, Pogo Plumber, will be landing on the App Store later this month. Best known for their entertainment apps such as Wolfify, Oldify and Sketchify, the developers created an old school side-scroller featuring a plumber named Pogo and his plunger. Coming later down the road for iOS devices, Pogo Plumber packs single tap control mechanics as well as a retro art style. Featuring dangerous man holes, skid marked streets and a sewer underworld, the game\'s landscapes were inspired by Apptly’s home town in Brooklyn, New York. Pogo Plumber uses simple game controls to navigate the city-inspired obstacles and tall buildings by using tap functionality to easily jump and then again to pogo plunge down on a variety of enemies. In addition, players can chain enemy pogos to jump super high, collect coins, get power-ups and even earn special accessories. Also just like any other good platforming game, players can compete against friends on shared online leaderboards.
From what we were told, Pogo Plumber will be available as a free-to-play game later this month with cosmetic upgrades that can be earned or purchased as well as a "continue" option which can be bought. Just like always, we\'ll keep you update if more information becomes available.

“At Apptly, we are dedicated to bringing entertaining apps to the mobile marketplace. When the opportunity to start publishing mobile games came to us, it felt like a natural evolution for Apptly,” said Geoff Warren-Boulton, Apptly CEO and founder. “Pogo Plumber takes our simple and fun approach to mobile content to a cool retro side-scroller that anyone can easily pick up and enjoy. The game is meant to be played in bite-sized pieces and is a perfect travel game when on the road this summer.”
