It seems that we can now take a look (for the very first time) at the unannounced Nokia Lumia 530 - a new handset that’s supposed to arrive later this year as the successor to the Lumia 520 and Lumia 525.
Reportedly, GeekOnGadgets found this low-res image of the Lumia 530 (seen above) in “a guide displaying the available WP 8.1 devices.” The image is showing the new device next to the Lumia 930 and Lumia 635. The 530 has a display that’s a bit smaller than the 4.5-inch screen of the Lumia 630, most likely measuring 4.3 inches. Other than that, there aren’t too many details about the 530. However, we can safely assume that this will be an affordable, entry-level smartphone.
Like the Lumia 635, the 530 runs Windows Phone 8.1 - and we can see that it has on-screen keys, instead of hardware buttons.
While there is no word on when Microsoft (which now owns Nokia’s Devices and Services unit) intends to release the Lumia 530, we know that the handset is supposed to be available in the US via T-Mobile. Let's hope we'll hear more on this soon.
