The LG G3 will be officially introduced tomorrow, May 27, but we already know almost everything there is to know about it. Naturally, we’re expecting all major US mobile carriers to offer the new handset. @evleaks now seems to confirm that Sprint will have it, as it posted two renders that allegedly show the carrier’s G3.
Unlike the LG G3 for Verizon, which has not one, but two carrier logos on it, Sprint’s LG G3 doesn’t seem to have extra logos at all. You couldn’t even tell that it’s made for Sprint - if it weren’t for the Sprint Spark LTE icon that’s visible in the notification bar.
It looks like Sprint’s G3 will come in at least two color versions: titanium and gold. We don’t know when the third largest US carrier intends to launch the LG G3, but there’s a date that’s visible on the handset’s home screen: July 25. If that’s the smartphone’s launch date, it means it will be available almost two months after its official announcement (at least at Sprint).
The G3 will be LG’s first smartphone to feature a Quad HD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display. Although the screen is a 5.5-inch one, the handset remains fairly compact, reportedly measuring 5.76 x 2.94 x 0.35 inches (146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm). You can see a size comparison between the G3 and other flagship smartphones here.
Make sure to come back tomorrow, as we'll have tons of details about the LG G3 once they're out.
