With WWDC 2014 opening on Monday, there is speculation that Apple will unveil one or both rumored versions of the Apple iPhone 6 next week. There is a model equipped with a 4.7 inch screen, said to be as thin as 6mm, and dubbed the Apple iPhone 6 Air. There is also a 5.5 inch phablet-sized model rumored, with the moniker Apple iPhone 6 Pro.
Also tipped to be making an appearance at WWDC is the long waited Apple iWatch. The latest leak about the wearable reveals that it will have a circular face, and have a different style for each gender. The iWatch is also expected to have a thin and elegant design.
The odds of an iPhone unveiling next week at the developer conference are high, despite what appeared to be signs of such an event taking place. The chances of the Apple iWatch getting introduced at WWDC are slightly better.
While nothing can ever be called a sure thing, the introduction of iOS 8 at WWDC is about as close as it gets. Large banners with the number "8" displayed are being put up at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, home to WWDC. The latest build of Apple's mobile OS should contain the Healthbook app. The latter will store and analyze data related to your health, obtained from sensors placed on the iWatch.
