LG G3 starting its global roll out in 3 days (June 27), US availability still unknown

LG has just released new information to the press regarding its prized new flagship -- the G3 -- and more specifically, its global roll out plans. We aren't treated to a very thorough report, but there's still a few things to talk about.

First and foremost, June 27th is the day the G3 starts its marathon, and it'll first grace the shores of Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Other unspecified Asian, European, and Middle Eastern markets will follow shortly, but LG is keeping mum on details for now -- all we know is that it'll be sometime in July.

Unfortunately, and as some of you will be quick to point out, no information was made available in regards to the US version of the LG G3. This continues to be the case, though, rest assured, the phone will be available with pretty much every major US carrier. According to Sprint's own LG G3 pre-registration page, the G3 will arrive stateside also in July.

LG also announced that certain markets will receive different versions of the G3 with some unique features -- one example is the European version (which we've already received) supports the Qi wireless charging standard, while the South Korean one does not. A wireless charging dock, sold separately, is also being made available, and LG even used the opportunity to advertise it with a short video. Take a look.
