Aces of the Luftwaffe is an action arcade game, reminiscent of the over-the-top shooters of the not-so-distant past. Packed with colorful 2D graphics, tons of explosions and an undodgeable amount of enemy projectiles onscreen, the game just screams retro, but there is a modern twist! Namely - you can now control the game via a Sony SmartWatch 2.
Sure, it seems cumbersome and will probably get you killed more than you would like, but the coolness factor cannot be denied. Besides, with the coming of Android TV, it just gets us thinking about the possible mutual future of wearables and living room gaming. Boxing or Tennis, anyone? Could we be looking at a possible optional Wii-like experience? Having the choice to play some motion-sensing games without having to buy an exclusive remote sure sounds nice. And it looks like Android is well on its way to stepping on the toes of some console manufacturers already.
