Capture the ‘Moment’ With Your iPhone or iPad
We take a lot of pictures with our iOS devices. In 2013, Facebook reported users were uploading 350 million photos per day . This number is staggering, but when you check your news feed on Facebook I’m sure you’ll see tons of photos as you scroll down. Just because there’s a large quantity of photos on your news feed, doesn’t mean they’re all quality photos. With how easy it is to share photos these days, it takes only seconds to snap and post photos without taking a good look at what you\'ve created. There is a way to take better photos with high quality lenses using your iOS devices. Moment started a Kickstarter campaign to help improve the overall quality of the photos we’re snapping and sharing on the devices we use the most -- our smartphones. We take our iPhones and iPads with us everywhere and Moment wants to help you unlock their potential so we all can become better photographers. With this in mind, Moment created two amazing lenses you can use on your iPhone or iPad. These lenses will quickly improve the quality of your photos without sacrificing the everyday conveniences you enjoy on your iOS devices.
The lens mounting plate attaches to the back of your iOS device and it’s razor thin so as to not interfere with an existing case you’re using. Not all iPhone or iPad cases will be compatible once this plate is mounted. My Otterbox case was not useable once the plate was mounted on my iPhone 5. Some slim rubber cases will still allow you to protect your iPhone while using the Moment lenses. I Kickstarted this campaign and purchased both the wide and macro lenses, and they’re very impressive. Each lens twists on very easily to the mounting plate and I’ve never worried about them detaching since the lens barrel attaches so snugly. When I pulled each lens out of the box I was shocked how heavy each lens was. All other iPhone lenses I’ve purchased were always extremely lightweight which is great, but you know the glass Moment put in these lenses are of much higher quality than their competitors once you hold the equipment in your hand. Thus far I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the photos I\'ve captured using my Moment lenses. There are only a few minor complaints I have with this product. Currently I’m working on writing a full review on the Moment lenses—if you would like to read it, you should follow me on Twitter to receive a tweet when the review is posted. You can also like iOS Etc on Facebook and the article will post on your news feed when it\'s published.
