Samsung’s been advocating the benefits of AMOLED displays for years, but it’s doing it more frequently lately - because it recently released its Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4, the world’s first high-res Super AMOLED tablets.
Without going into technical details, Samsung posted an infographic that shows why Super AMOLED screens are superior to LCD ones. Among the listed reasons you’ll find a higher contrast ratio, wider viewing angles, and more accurate colors.
With Super AMOLED screens that feature 1600 x 2560 pixel resolutions, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4 certainly have a place among this year’s best tablets. Of course, they offer many other attractive features besides nice displays, including Exynos 5 Octa processors, 3 GB of RAM, expandable internal memory, 8 MP rear cameras, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
