Android L updates for Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 may be launched in November / December

Arguably the most important Android update ever, Android L has yet to receive a final name. Even so, we already know a lot about this new version of Google’s OS, including the fact that manufacturers should start pushing Android L updates before the end of the year.



While we still have to wait a bit for official release dates, we now have details on when Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 may get Android L. According to Sam Mobile (usually a very reliable source when it comes to Samsung-related info), Samsung’s two flagship handsets should be updated to Android L by the end of November, or in early December. Of course, that may be a bit later than most Samsung users were expecting. But we have to keep in mind that Samsung will have a lot of work to do optimizing its TouchWiz UI for Android L.
