Apple took to the stage and announced not one, but two largish iPhone editions - the 6 and the 6 Plus, with 4.7" and 5.5" screen diagonals, respectively. Better screens, faster processor, better cameras, thinner design - what's not to like in those two, but the lingering question about the pricing and release date of these beauties remains.
Well, apple didn't leave us hanging for long, and announced the usual pricing for the iPhone 6 - $199 on contract, with the 5.5" phablet going for $299. In fact, the iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 for 16GB, $399 for 64, $499 for 128GB. Release date will be September 19th, with preorders starting September 12th. Naturally, the price without a contract would be much steeper, but, hey, how many phones are offering you 128 GB storage these days?
