Here is something you don't see every day. In order to help its customers find a pocket on their pants that will accommodate the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, China Unicom is offering in-house pocket enlargements. That's right, China's second largest carrier has hired a group of tailors to expand the size of the pockets on the pants of those who come into the store, and purchase Apple's 5.5-inch phablet.
Certainly China Unicom is taking advantage of all of those reports claiming that the iPhone 6 Plus bent while inside a pants pocket. There are larger screened smartphones available in China, and we never heard of any carrier in the country offering free pocket enlargements for those phones.
Actually, we can't give China Unicom credit for being the first to offer a tailor for the iPhone 6 Plus. It seems that in the Netherlands, mobile operator KPN offered alterations for buyers of Apple's first phablet, right outside one of their retail stores.
