vendredi 10 octobre 2014

In China, official pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus started today. It took just six hours for customers of China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile, to reserve 1 million units of Apple's two new handsets. Apple's Chinese website also joined in the fun, accepting pre-orders in the country.

Before the official reservation period started, one online retailer in China, JD.com, had received 9 million pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The numbers show that Chinese iPhone users still prefer the larger iPhone 6 Plus by a thin margin. The latest figures from JD.com reveal that it has 4,580,620 iPhone 6 units and 4,734,639 iPhone 6 Plus units reserved for buyers.

The 4.7-inch Apple iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch Apple iPhone 6 Plus will both launch in China, and in India, next Friday, October 17th. In the U.S., Apple says that it sold 10 million units of its new handsets over the launch weekend. Overall, in the U.S. Apple is believed to have sold 21 million units of the two phones.
