The LG G Watch R, the version of the LG G Watch with a round face, will be launching via Sprint on November 14th. The Android Wear powered timepiece can pair with any Android smartphone running Android 4.3 or higher, in order to bring you notifications of phone calls and messages on your wrist. The watch offers protection against dust and water with an IP57 certification. That means the watch can lie in a tank of water no deeper than 3.2 feet, for no longer than 30 minutes, and come out of it totally unscathed.
The LG G Watch R allows users to change their watch bands and is actually the first smartwatch with a perfectly round display (sorry, Motorola Moto 360, but you are not perfectly round). The 1.3 inch screen has a resolution of 320 x 320, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. Also included is 512MB of RAM and 4GB of non-expandable storage. A 410mAh battery keeps the wheels turning.
Sprint will be offering the timepiece for $299 beginning next Friday. With Sprint Easy Pay, you can make 12 monthly payments of $25 each.
