T-Mobile subscribers can now go online to purchase one of the best-looking Windows Phone handsets, the HTC One M8 for Windows. The handset, which was first offered as an Android powered model, is available from the carrier for $585.60. Or, qualified customers can pay $0 down with 24 monthly installments of $24.40.
With the same specs as the Android version of the device, the HTC One M8 has all of the capabilities you would expect to find on a top shelf model from earlier this year. That includes a 5-inch screen with resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 under the hood. 2GB of RAM is on board along with 32GB of native storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those needing more memory. The 4MP Ultrapixel Duo camera allows for post-processing focal changes, similar to Lytro powered snappers. The 5MP front-facing shooter is great for taking "selfies". A 2600mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Windows Phone 8.1 is included.
With Windows Phone 8.1 powering the phone, users of the HTC One M8 for Windows get to use virtual personal assistant Cortana. Accessories include the HTC Dot View case.
