Besides allowing customers in the US to buy the Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Sony is now also offering the Xperia Z3, unlocked, via its official online store.
The smartphone’s price is $ 679.99, and Sony says that the estimated shipping date is November 10 - that’s early next week. All four color variants of the Z3 are available to order: black, white, silver green, and copper.
As you most probably know, the Z3 is Sony’s latest flagship smartphone, being introduced as the successor to the Xperia Z2. The Z3 is thinner and faster than the older model, while offering a better display (albeit similar in size and resolution), and an enhanced rear camera. Of course, if you’re not a fan of buying smartphones at full prices upfront, you can also get the Z3 from T-Mobile, which is offering it for $0 down and $26.25 per month for two years (voice and data costs not included).
As a reminder, the Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z3 Tablet Compact will be among Sony’s first devices to be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop (starting early 2015).
