Update to ‘WWE Immortals’ Adds New Playable WWE Superstars and More

Not too long ago, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and WWE revealed that WWE Immortals for iOS has gotten an update which now offers two new characters -- Macho Man Randy Savage and Stone Cold Steve Austin -- along with an all new Events System. These new characters mark the second wave of additions to the WWE Immortals roster since the game\'s launch earlier this year, following the recent introduction of Superstar Randy Orton last month. We\'re also informed that WWE Immortals plans to add new playable characters to its existing roster every month. Both of the new characters for this month\'s update will be available in two variations which can be seen below.

  • Macho Man Randy Savage – Renegade

  • Macho Man Randy Savage – Macho King

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin – Icebound Watcher

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin – Texas Rattlesnake

From there, the new Events System provides more opportunities for players to interact in the game and with each other. The Events System will kick off with a week-long series of events surrounding WrestleMania 31. Starting March 26th and running through April 2nd, the event will take over the WWE Immortals main screen and "Online Battle" screens. Gamers who place in the top of the leaderboard during the event week have an opportunity to win an exclusive WrestleMania 31 Four-Star Gear, or an exclusive WrestleMania 31 Two-Star "Ticket" Gear.
