Together with the brand new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Apple announced a brand new set of cases, covers and other accessories for those ultrathin devices with a freshly-minted design. Considering that the iPhone 6 is one of the thinnest handsets out there, at 6.9mm, and with a radically different design than the iPhone 5s, not to mention the larger chassis, it will warrant a whole new industry of cases and covers. Ditto for the 6 Plus.
Apple outed two best case scenarios for its freshly-redesigned handset - a more expensive Leather version, and the cheaper Silicone line. These come in both bold or understated colors, with the usual RED design version that is pretty screamy, and not for every taste. A couple of other popular case makers have pulled the trigger on the iPhone 6 cases now, and have whole lineups dedicated to Apple's finest.
