Apple Sends Out Media Invites for October 16th Event
Hot off the heels of the iPhone 6 event just last month, Apple has sent out invites to their next event which is slated for October 16th at 10AM PDT. With the invites comes a somewhat interesting tagline -- "It\'s been way too long" -- that appears to hint at what we can expect from Apple to announce. As of right now, current rumors suggest we\'ll see a brand new iPad Air, iPad Mini, updated iMacs with possible Retina Displays, as well as a 4K or Retina Thunderbolt Display. Apart from that it would be nice to see an updated Mac Mini and Apple TV, however, that may not happen until next year. From there, it is possible that Apple may touch on the Apple Watch again and also talk about Mac OS X Yosemite which just got a new Gold Master version today.
