Apple Enables Two-Step Verification for iMessage and FaceTime

The Guardian reported on Thursday that Apple will be enabling two-step verification for iMessage and FaceTime. For those unfamiliar with the concept, two-step verification adds an extra layer of protection for various website, including Apple. It requires users to input authentication codes when logging into iCloud on new devices, the web, and now iMessage and FaceTime. The company first enabled two-step verification for Apple ID\'s back in 2013. But this ultimately failed with iCloud logins. We highly recommend everybody enable two-step verification on all of their services.
